Nowaday, everybody are suffering. Human, animal, sea, air, all of this are suffering. But from what? I dont think there a big war happening right now like previous world war II. So from what are we suffering?

ok, lets us open our eyes and face the reality :

only in 1year without we realised it!

If you are a normal person with a little bit feeling of coutioness, i guess you should be realised that from those picture, it is clearly show that our world is in danger. Global warming, drastic climate change, extinction of many species of animal and so on. So are we have been convinced that the reality about our world is suffering right now?

As human, mybe most of us use to ask," Can i stop all this things to be happened?".

The answer is
YES, YOU CAN BE THE SAVIOR OF OUR EARTH.

What is GREEN TECHNOLOGY?

TECHNOLOGY is a scientific word that mean the application of science knowledge and calculation for practical purpose. And the term of "GREEN" is a symbolic word for nature or earth. So, the combination of those two word bring the meaning of a group of knowledge that been applied to produce a practical equipment in environmental friendly manner.

There are some goals to be set for us to achieve GREEN TECHNOLOGY:

1) Innovation - creating another alternative for current product. As example, we need to apply new alternative for chemical substance or fossil fuel to generate energy
2) Reduction - reducing the number of things that we throw everyday and try to reuse or recycle

3) Sustainability - inventing new product or technology for market need that will never harm natural resources

So HEROES, LETS THINK GREEN NOW!!

In this article, i would like to giving information to all about what type of green technology that we already have and what we are still studying to be created soon.

Environmental friendly technology

- recycling -

Recycling is one of the oldest green technology which have been practiced widely by the whole world. The recycling is totally bring the concept of saving the nature where all the things that is can not be used anymore is recycled to produce a new usable different product. Almost all type of material like glass, paper, plastic and tin can be recycle. In this way, it can help to protect the environment from overloading waste management and cause less pollution.

- water purification -

A concepts of removing all kind of contamination, dirt, germs and toxic from raw water so that the clean water can be produce for global use. In this era, water purification technology have provide drinking water to all human in this wolrd. But the usage of purified water also can be use for other purposes like pharmacology, medical, and chemical industry.

The treatment of water start by collecting the raw water from many type of sources. As the example, water from underground, lakes, reservoirs, canals and seawater. Then the raw water will be treated by several stage of filtration, flocculation and sedimentation until it reach required pH standard for public use. This process is one of green technology that help to purified dirty water into usable water.
- energy conservation -

Everyday, we use a lot of energy to do our daily life. Lighting the lamp, cooking, watching television and surfing internet are example of activities that require the energy. Energy need to be produce into form of electricity before it can be use at our home. To produce the energy itself require a lot of natural resources like charcoal, petrol, diesel and so on.

But, day by day, the natural resource for the energy is decreasing while the need of energy increase everyday. The side effect of pollution created when producing energy also can cost thousands of billion to a country.

So, the idea of energy conservation is to reduce the energy consume by human to preserve natural resource and to avoid mass pollution to the earth. This idea can be achieved by using energy efficiently and try to decrease the usage or energy everyday. All this can help a country to gain better environment quality, human comfort and economic stability.

FUTURE GREEN TECHNOLOGY

Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion

Ocean or sea covered almost 75 percent of our whole earth. And this make it as biggest solar receiver. From the studies, we believe that the energy from solar that absorb by the ocean can be equal to 250 billions barrels of oil in each day. So, Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion ( OTEC ) is try to use this as main energy source by converting the thermal energy from difference of water temperature in the ocean. This temperature difference can generate the turbine to produce energy. By the way, current technology still can not be apply since there is not enough mechanism to generate sufficient energy.

Big win for mini car

It was all smiles for team UTP i-Green from Universiti Teknologi Petronas, when they were announced champions at the Fifth Malaysian Chem-E-Car Competition held at SEGi University College, Kota Damansara recently.

Third-year Chemical Engineering student Muhammad Akmal Abdul Wahab, 21, said their win came as a surprise to the team.

“It was 40% luck and 60% hard work,” he said.

Their winning car was powered using a zinc and carbon reaction.

“Basically, we put an aluminium strip in hydrochloric acid to move the car, and when the entire strip dissolves, the car would stop.”

Akmal said his team took about three months before coming up with their final product.

The competition, which was open to undergraduate Engineering students from all public, private and international universities required tertiary students to construct a car that was powered with a chemical energy source that would carry a certain load to a given distance and stop.

Hosted for the first time by a private education institution, SEGi vice-chancellor Prof Dr Muhamad Awang said, “I believe that the exchange of technical expertise and ideas with students of other countries will have a positive effect on the exposure and knowledge gained by all participants.”

He added that he hoped to see more entries from international universities next year.

Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) vice president Yim Hon Wa said that the competition was a good platform for students to share theire experience and knowledge in the field.

“As we know, energy will soon be a world crisis as fuel is running out, and we have to find another way for sustainability. Through this competition, we can share our knowledge locally and internationally, and learn from each other.”

He added that this competition also gave more exposure to tertiary students, to prepare them for the corporate world.

“When students leave their tertiary institutions, we want them to leave well-equipped for the real world. I think a competition like this not only stimulates their minds, also helps build their confidence and soft-skills.”

Deputy Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Fadillah Yusof said, “We now live in an era of competition, and we need to expose young engineers to this competitive world as early as possible to prepare them for what they are about to face in the future.”

lepas lepak makan sampai kol 2, aku ngn cha dah mata rabak ngntuk tahap setan. so,rushing turun bukit bawak ngn speed agak laju...tgah layan tokyo drift atas bukit skali ade orang eksiden la plak...ngeri la jgk terbalik2 kreta tu....trus aku dari 120km/h kepada 50km/h je...huhu...sampai shah alam dlm kol 3, tumpang tido umah member cha yang umah die agak tongkang pecah tahap gaban...serius dah kembara tegar pon leh pengsan..kol 3 tido...tp kol 5 kitorang dah bangun sebb nak gerak gi kajang lak nak naik broga hill...wachaa

gerak lam kol 6,aku drive dlm keadaan mamai2 ngn tak mandi pagi...dah la salah jalan masuk highway mane ntah..sunyi je tkde kreta...memang lg r aku tensen...sampai kt kaki broga tu lam kol 7.30...trus naik ngn jeans n selipar....bese r otai kembara..wakaka



lepas lepak broga hills,aku ngn cha ngn sue lepak breakfast ngn kakak aku aka kak long n abang jim kat semenyih...bayangkan ko order dlm kelaparan nasik lemak, tukang amik order pon jenis semngt amik order,lepas setgh jam nasik tak sampai2,bile ditanye mane nasik lemak,leh selamba die jawab nasik lemak dah lame habis...hotak die....yang semangat gi amik order tu kenapa...ckp je la dari awal tkde...

lepas makan,balik umah kak long jup rehat2. malam before tu aku ade gi ICITY jup,so belikan mainan sket kat anak2 sedara...sonok bangat huzaiman ngn huzaifah dapat pedang lampu ala2 lughtsaber...lepas umah kak long, kitorng gerak gi mandi air terjun lak kt HUTAN LIPUR SUNGAI TEKALA....ape yang menarik sal tempat ni bukan sebb air die yang best,tp sebb kena lalu dua jenis tapak KUBUR CINA NGN KUBUR KRISTIAN baru sampai kt tempat tu...agak gothic gak r xpdc kitorang ni....

selipar aku putus time kt area2 atas air terjun..turun jadi orang asli r aku

then dari sungai tekala tu,trus kitorang gerak gi shah alam jup tukar baju n trus gi ONE UTAMA SHOPPING COMPLEX....ikotkan plan asal kitorang nak gi putrajaya layan wall climbing....tp memandangkan cha ni lembik orangnye, plan ditukar kepada menonton wayang. kitorang tgk citer SALT yang ANGELINO COLIE tu blakon....citer die best giler kot...die pasal salt ni spy yang power...ZZzzzZZzzzzzZZzzzz ( aku tido lepas 15minit citer tu start siap dengkur2 lg...sue pon layan tido gak....nak tahu sal citer ni tnye cha je)

habis tgk citer(tgk ke??), kitorang lepak makan kat food court situ je...tak larat dah nk cari tempat mkn best2...bedal je makan ape ade yang dekat sebb trus nak balik....tuk malam kedua,kitorang tido kat umah kakak aku yang second, kak ngah....bising gak die datang tak bgtao..hihi....sampai2 trus mandi...lepas mandi,plan nk gi lepak uptown danau kota plak usha2 kasut or baju,tp skali lepas baring trus tido....penat giler kot....dlm kol 10 tu abng ipar aku kejut makan durian pon tak bgun sebb penat sgt....

esok nye, lepas bgun, aku ajak cha gi tgk sue jual cupcake kat ROYAL SELANGOR CLUB....event tu sal match kriket ape kejadahharam ntah....aku gi jalan2 je ngn cha....cha terpikat ngn 2 member sue name miji ngn azri....sue,nnti bg number fon diorng kat cha k....wakakaka....kat event tu,ramai gile cam gampang orang melayu minum TIGER BEER...hotak die tol kalo jakim wat ambush,leh naik pangkat diorng sebb hasil tangkapan ramai kot....uish2...nasik baik aku minum nescafe ais je....

tu la sume benda yang aku ngn cha wat version kelab sek kito cha featuring suhaila...maybe bg diorng,journey 3 hari memenatkn dah hbs, tp belum tuk aku....aku naik bus kol 5pm...expect sampai utp lam kol 9pm....dah naik bus,bru aku perasan yg bus aku tu tak lalu sri iskandar. die lalu teluk intan direct ke lumut,,,,hotak die dah la aku ade meeting ETP kot kol 10...hp aku dah la bateri kong plak tu...tensen tol...sampai manjung,aku turun carik tiket bus nak gi utp...huhu penat giler seh....kol 10.45 bru sampai utp tu pon nasib baik pian jumpe aku kt tepi jalan...kalo tak menapak la aku sampai dalam....
